AFF jumps and Static Line jumps require a half day of classes which close with a jump at the end of the day. Tandem jumps also require a half day of training although these classes are not as intense. AerOhio Skydiving Center is conveniently located in central Cleveland but also has two other facilities located in Ohio. In addition to the best skydiving lessons in Ohio, AerOhio also offers its students sales and service, rigging services, comfortable and air conditioned student classrooms, and free camping complete with hot showers. The rates are very reasonable at AerOhio Skydiving Center. You can schedule a tandem skydive for only $199 or an AFF dive for $299. Take advantage of their amazing group specials, which offer a discount of $30 per person for every group of 10.

Another great location for skydiving in Ohio is Skydive Columbus. Skydive Columbus provides students with one-on-one instruction on tandem skydiving, and goes over every little detail of the jump. You will learn how to manage your equipment, how to pull the ripcord, and hand signals used between you and the instructor during your free-fall. You will go through an extensive safety course and you will only board the aircraft when you are confident that you understand the entire process. Skydive Columbus has its own rate schedule that can be viewed online or by calling for information. For a tandem jump which includes training and all equipment, you are looking at $219 for a single person. You can choose to purchase a video of your tandem skydive for an extra $95. Skydive Columbus does not offer any group discounts, but they do offer specific group rates. If you feel comfortable with tandem skydiving, the facility offers the chance to jump as individual (known as an accelerated free-fall) after three tandem jumps for $150. The facility offers various jumps and lessons in order to obtain your skydiving license, but you should call in advance with those questions and to obtain the rates.
